FINE OLIVE OILS AND OTHER SPANISH DELICACIES

We travel vast distances in Spain searching, tasting, talking to the locals, calling at many olive oil mills, and eventually selecting the oils to bring back to England and let others have the experience of tasting too. These oils come to you from the mountains, the plains and the desert like campo in southern Spain. All different, all lovely.

Having just returned from our latest olive oil tastings in the west of Andalucia, we are very happy to say that they are, once again, most delicate and lovely tasting oils due to excellent harvests. We have selected 3 from that side of Andalucia and are sure you will love them too.

No. 1 is Estepa's 100% hojiblanco--more delicate this year,floral and fruity as in elderflower or apple with a hint of pepper, delectable!
No. 2 is 100% arbequino--smooth, sweet fruit as in pears or peach, delicious!
No.3 is from both the arbequina and hojiblanca olive, making it an interesting combination of smooth, light and fruity, another great oil.
Try and taste and see which you prefer.

We have re-ordered the wonderful whole green "mojo picon " olives that we had last year that were so popular.For those that haven't tried them, they are cracked , whole and marinaded in smoked paprika, chilli and garlic, truelly delicious. They come in jars. The other olive is also cracked whole and marinaded in garlic and herbs, wonderful too.
The pickled garlic is also from the same mill and in smoked paprika or just plain. A must for aperetifs. These will be available end of Feb, beginning of March. All are available to taste if you visit our stand at various events throughout the year or at the Pannier market in Tavistock every Thursday and Friday only, under a green parasol.
Our other Spanish products are there too, e.g. stuffed olives, fish, sweets, ceramics. Look forward to seeing you there ! A bit of sunny Spain for you and friends!
